The role covers responsibilities across SMT, test and screen, welding, packaging, labeling, and documentation, with emphasis on traceability and regulatory compliance. A high school diploma, good communication, and flexible scheduling are required.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, test and/or inspect medical devices in compliance with company procedures.
  • Work within specialty areas such as SMT, Test & Screen, BBFT, Seam Welding, Header Attach, Helical Welding, Helical Completions, Lead Finals, Wands, Tablets, Packaging, Labeling, Ancillaries, Repro.
  • Ensure work orders are completed on a timely basis.
  • Maintain traceability compliance by keeping accurate production documentation.
  • Track and maintain accurate material inventory.
  • Identify process or product improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure all production activities are fully compliant with regulatory, Quality System, and GMP requirements.
  • Perform other duties as required by management.

Job Overview

We are hiring an Operations | Manufacturing Team Member to join our operations team at our Houston site. In this role you will be responsible for assembling and inspecting medical devices and related assemblies in compliance with company procedures and ensuring production schedules and quality criteria are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble, test and/or inspect medical devices in compliance with company procedures.
  • Work within specialty areas such as SMT, Test & Screen, BBFT, Seam Welding, Header Attach, Helical Welding, Helical Completions, Lead Finals, Wands, Tablets, Packaging, Labeling, Ancillaries, Repro.
  • Ensure work orders are completed on a timely basis.
  • Maintain traceability compliance by keeping accurate production documentation.
  • Track and maintain accurate material inventory.
  • Identify process or product improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure all production activities are fully compliant with regulatory, Quality System, and GMP requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably medical device.
  • Good initiative, self‑reliance and professionalism.
  • Experience in an ISO9001 or GMP manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in a clean room or soldering environment.
  • Ability to visually inspect or test components, assemblies or devices according to written procedures and identify defects.
  • Familiarity with basic measuring equipment and a variety of manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Target hourly pay rate $17/hr – $22/hr plus annual bonus.
