Job summary

Gateway Services is hiring an on-site Operations Team Member in Champaign, IL. This full-time, hourly role offers $21.00–$23.00 per hour and a Monday–Friday 2pm–10pm schedule, with comprehensive benefits and paid training.

You will operate cremation equipment, process and package remains, create memorial keepsakes, and perform quality checks while maintaining a clean, safe workstation. No prior industry experience required; we provide all training and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physical tasks including standing, walking and lifting.
• On-site role at Gateway Care Center.
• Able to follow safety procedures.
• Comfortable working around deceased pets.

Responsibilities

• Operate cremation equipment following established procedures.
• Process and package cremated remains with accuracy and care.
• Create memorial products such as paw prints and keepsakes.
• Perform quality checks to ensure every order is completed correctly.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment.
• Work with teammates to meet daily production goals.
