The position is based in the Pediatrics Computing Facility (PCF) on the Medical school campus.

Job Description:

Provides leadership and specialized support on IT equipment and systems for business, research, and instructional functions. Responsibilities include the advanced use of software/hardware tools to deliver ongoing services, with expertise in core infrastructure elements. The role may involve installation, modification, testing, and documentation across platforms, and may require supervision of technical staff and complex problem resolution. Final technical decision-making authority may be involved.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assigns staff responsibilities for planning and implementing new and revised programs.
• Applies concepts of supervision and leadership.
• Monitors impact of time, finances, resources, and quality of services.
• Seeks guidance from management on unusual matters.
• Uses expertise to plan and monitor work of the technical team.
• Manages the resource and technology base of the Business Unit.
• Uses strong technical skills to direct and assist staff.
• Measures employee results and initiates personnel actions.
• Manages the PCF Citrix environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
