Job summary

Eurofins USA Agroscience Services is seeking a temporary, full-time Operations Support Lab Technician to join the Sample Milling team in Columbia, MO. The role emphasizes meticulous sample handling, inventory control, and strict regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, basic college-level lab exposure, and the ability to work independently or with a team. You will help maintain documentation and assist with material handling as part of a dynamic lab environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College lab classes or familiarity with lab environment preferred.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Uses appropriate software applications to track receipt, storage, use, expiration, disposal, return, and archiving of test materials.
• Receives, creates IDs, logs-in, and stores materials upon receipt.
• Moves or transfers materials from one department to another; maintains proper paperwork.
• Returns, disposes of, or archives materials at study finalization.
• Ensures SOPs, Good Laboratory Practices, CGMP and applicable regulations (USDA, DOT, EPA, MDNR, OSHA, FDA, etc.) are followed for quarantined matrices and samples.
• Maintains accurate and legible required documentation.
• Performs routine calibration of balances.
• Assists in unloading trucks and storing materials appropriately.

Eurofins EAG Agroscience, LLC (EAS) is seeking a temporary, full time Operations Support Lab Technician to work with our Sample Milling team in Columbia, MO.

Job Description

Operations Support Lab Technician responsibilities include

• Uses appropriate software applications to track receipt, storage, use, expiration, disposal, return, and/or archiving of test materials.

• Receives, creates IDs, logs-in, and stores materials upon receipt.

• Moves or transfers materials from one department to another. Checks materials in and out as requested by study personnel. Maintains proper paperwork.

• Returns, disposes of, or archives materials at study finalization.

• Ensures all current SOPs, Good Laboratory Practices, Current Good Manufacturing Processes (CGMP), and/or relevant regulations (USDA, DOT, EPA, MDNR, OSHA, FDA, etc.) for quarantined matrices; genetically altered crops, and all materials/samples are followed.

• Maintains accurate and legible required documentation.

• Performs routine tasks for calibration of balances.

• Assists in unloading trucks and storing materials appropriately
