Job summary

Eurofins Agroscience Services Easton, MD is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our Chemistry department. You will perform analytical work under cGMP/GLP guidelines, support studies, ensure data accuracy, and maintain records.

The role requires an associate degree in a relevant field; familiarity with lab settings is preferred, and US work authorization is required. The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, with potential overtime, located on Maryland's eastern shore near the Chesapeake Bay.

Eurofins Agroscience Services is seeking a candidate to fill a position of Laboratory Technician to work with our Chemisty departments.

Job Description

Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following

• Completes work for research and development under cGMP and/or GLP guidelines for studies, documentation, etc.
• Assists in conducting, monitoring and reporting studies to ensure data accuracy and report quality.
• Provides basic analytical work on projects and studies using a range of analytical techniques and instruments.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would possess

• Strong computer and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Basic Minimum Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in relevant field such as chemistry, biochemistry, biology, environmental studies, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or other directly related field or degree with comparable coursework in the above areas.
• In rare cases, comparable demonstrated competence and experience in the relevant area may be used to substitute in whole or in part for the Associate’s degree.
• Familiarity and/or experience in a laboratory setting is preferred.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, with overtime required as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Easton, MD are encouraged to apply.
