Job summary

Amcor Specialty Cartons Americas LLC is seeking an Operations Support Specialist for our Richmond, VA area. This full-time role focuses on managing document accuracy, training staff, and upholding department guidelines to ensure smooth operations in service, inventory, and production.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in business, CS, or engineering, and demonstrate strong problem-solving, time management, and critical thinking skills to support a high-performing team.

  • Is a natural problem solver with time management, training, and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage document accuracy with knowledge of customers, carriers, and procedures.
  • Provide ongoing training to employees on procedures, protocols, and computer systems.
  • Establish and reinforce department regulations, guidelines and timelines.
  • Effectively complete operational responsibilities for appropriate individuals/positions.
  • Ensure operational support in the areas of service, inventory, and production.
  • Ensure safety programs and standards are followed.
  • Assist and ensure the right processes and practices across the organization.
  • Maintain regular communication with leadership to report problems and/or safety hazards.
  • Identify additional training areas for development of staff.
