Job summary

SABG is seeking an Operations Support Analyst (Intermediate) - M&S Integrator in Colorado Springs, CO. The role focuses on planning, executing, and coordinating wargames and exercises for MDA programs.

SABG is hiring an Operations Support Analyst (Intermediate) - M&S Integrator to support MDA in Colorado Springs, CO.

JOB TITLE

Operations Support Analyst (Intermediate) - M&S Integrator

LOCATION

Colorado Springs, Colorado

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute exercise and wargame events to include experiments, demonstrations, and/or tabletop event planning.
  • Participate in meetings and provide written feedback (agendas, minutes, summaries, or action items) to facilitate and coordinate wargames and exercises training efforts.
  • Assist with developing and coordinating reports, assessments, reviews, white papers, briefings, support agreements, event calendars, and responses to internal and external Agency taskings associated with missions in this task.
  • Conduct planning activities in support of exercises and wargames, to include attending planning conferences (MPCs and FPCs, or as directed).
  • Support the development of key deliverables and verification of entry and exit criteria for JELC events; develop applicable documentation.
  • Assist in the setup of facilities and coordination of resources needed to support wargame and exercise execution, including simulation labs, control rooms, communications infrastructure, etc.
  • Support testing phases for exercises and wargames, including but not limited: System Verification Test, Event Verification Test, Event Functional Test, Event Operational Test.
SUPERVISION

This position has no supervisory responsibilities

Education And Experience
  • BA/BS in related field with 5+ years relevant experience
  • 5+ years supporting operational exercises and wargames
  • Experience in lieu of the above requirements will be considered
Computer Skills

Experience operating MDA modeling and simulation software or similar; experience with Linux

Must have proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and database (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret governmental regulations, DoD Directives and US Code. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to question activities and issues in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based on data.

SALARY RANGE

$100,000-$115,000

Compensation at SABG is determined based on factors such as the role's requirements, education, certifications, skills, experience, geographic location, and market conditions. Final compensation is based on the specific qualifications and circumstances of each candidate.
