Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Cowpens, SC is seeking an Operations Supply Chain Supervisor for the 2nd shift (Wed–Sat, 5:30pm–4:30am). Lead daily warehouse operations and supervise a team to ensure efficiency and strong customer service.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in a similar role, proficiency with MS Office and scanners, and are open to overtime. A Bachelor's in Logistics or related field and prior supervisory or ISO/AS9100 exposure are a plus. Health benefits and more available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and computerized scanner equipment.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including overtime, weekends.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field (preferred).
• 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience (preferred).
• AS9100 or ISO environment experience (preferred).
• Warehousing or 3PL experience (preferred).

What you’ll do on a typical day:

Ensure efficient daily operations of the warehouse

Supervise the team and provide training and coaching to improve performance

What you need to succeed at GXO :

At a minimum, you’ll need:

2 years of relevant work experience

It’d be great if you also have:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field

2 years of managerial or supervisory experience

Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment

Warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL) experience

This job requires the ability to:

Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights

Stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time

Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel

Handle or manage tools or equipment

Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
