Job summary

Altec is seeking an Operations Supply Chain Co-op to join our team starting in January 2027 and through the summer of 2027 at the Daleville, VA facility. The role provides hands-on experience in cost savings, lean initiatives, and component procurement within a structured, mentored setting.

You will collaborate with engineering and production teams, support inventory control and pricing activities, and participate in special projects related to the assembly lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree pursuing is required.
• Preferred fields: Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, Finance, or Business Management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day, project-based supply chain work.
• Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives and Kaizen activities.
• Support production Fast Response initiatives and cost savings efforts.
• Assist in obtaining and reconciling part pricing and supplier quotes.
• Help manage inventory levels and procurement of assembly components.
• Contribute to reporting, Req-quoting, and resourcing tasks.
• Engage in special projects under mentorship.
