Join us in changing lives at our Turning Point Bridge location.We are looking for individuals with strong leadership skills and a passion for inspiring, helping and challenging people and we want you to be a part of our Clinical team in an Operations Supervisor role.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:Train, supervise, and schedule all operations staff.Supervise inmate population, including meals, work periods, visitation, and furloughs.Conduct intake on inmates when necessary.Evaluate all operations staff after probationary period, and then annually thereafter.Organize and facilitate staff meetings with operations staff at least monthly.Implement security and operation policies and procedures as mandated by The Company.Ensure safety and welfare of inmates, staff and visitors.Delegate responsibility for the operation and security of the center.Ensure all counts are conducted according to written policy.Facilitate safety and emergency procedures as set by The Company standards.Conduct written facilities inspections required by The Company standards.Participate in monthly department head meetings with the Facility Director and weekly clinical staff meetingsSupervise The Company required operations department documentation and operations data entry on WRIMS.Clock in and out utilizing the company time and attendance system.Must be able to perform the major functions of job with or without an accommodation.Required to attend all mandatory training specified by policy.Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.Report all Workers Compensation injuries, whether or not they require medical attention or not, to you immediate supervisor, the Business Administrator or the Facility Director.Report all breaches of company policy or code of ethics that you have knowledge of, hear about or see regardless of who is involved in the breach to your immediate supervisor or the Facility Director. Or the HR Department if necessary.Report all unsafe conditions that could affect clients/inmates or employees which you become aware of to your immediate supervisor or the Facility Director immediately.To be eligible for promotion you must demonstrate organizational abilities and must have good written and oral communication skills.Ensure that all applicable policies and procedures that fall within the scope of this job description are followed and adhered to.Attend Department Head meetings as directed.Inspect facility and grounds daily and document on appropriate form.Perform other related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.The following qualifications apply:· A minimum of a High School diploma or GED required· Four (4) years of experience in the delivery of services to residents, offenders or inmates in the care, custody, or supervision of a federal, state or local criminal justice system.· Bachelor’s Degree may substitute for two (2) years of the required experience.Education and Experience may be substituted for each other on a year-for-year basis as deemed applicable.
