Job summary

Bridges of America, Orlando location, seeks an Operations Supervisor to lead and train the operations staff, oversee inmate populations, and ensure safety and policy compliance across centers. The role requires available to work all shifts, including weekends, and demands strong leadership in a corrections-focused environment.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Four years of experience delivering services to residents, offenders or inmates in supervision of a criminal justice system.
  • Bachelor’s Degree may substitute for two years of required experience.

Responsibilities

  • Train, supervise, and schedule all operations staff.
  • Supervise inmate population, including meals, work periods, visitation, and furloughs.
  • Conduct intake on inmates when necessary.
  • Evaluate all operations staff after probationary period, and then annually thereafter.
  • Organize and facilitate staff meetings with operations staff at least monthly.
  • Implement security and operation policies and procedures as mandated by The Company.
  • Ensure safety and welfare of inmates, staff and visitors.
  • Delegate responsibility for the operation and security of the center.
  • Ensure all counts are conducted according to written policy.
  • Facilitate safety and emergency procedures as set by The Company standards.
  • Conduct written facilities inspections required by The Company standards.
  • Participate in monthly department head meetings with the Facility Director and weekly clinical staff meetings.
  • Supervise The Company required operations department documentation and operations data entry on WRIMS.
