Job summary

Guardian Glass in Geneva, NY is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead a dynamic float glass production team. You will coach 8-20 staff, drive safety, quality, and on-time delivery while coordinating with planning and maintenance to meet daily goals.

This role includes relocation assistance and requires the ability to work a 2-2-3 rotating shift schedule; prior supervisory experience in manufacturing is preferred. U.S. work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Must have supervisory experience.
• Able to work rotating 2-2-3 shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production with 8-20 employees in a specified area.
• Promote our self-driven safety culture.
• Manage labor, prioritize projects and daily operations.
• Communicate effectively to meet deadlines, ensure follow up, and manage goals.
• Work hands-on with production and planning teams as needed to fulfill orders in a timely manner, elevate issues, and make decisions.
• Ensure quality products are produced.
• Partner with contractors and cross-functional teams.
• Monitor production systems and enter data, correct errors, and control key screens.
