Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring Operations Supervisors to support our Manufacturing team in La Vergne, TN. The Operations Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operation of the assigned departments, including supervision of associates for compliance with company policies and procedures. This role will monitor and instruct all associates assigned to shift, ensuring that throughput is maximized and process efficiencies are observed, with an emphasis on quality standards and practices.

What You’ll Need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role within a production or manufacturing environment, or comparable management experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience applying lean principles and continuous improvement to enhance operations.
  • Ability to manage a diverse workforce and foster an inclusive environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing environments; thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
  • Proven track record in safety culture improvements and Kaizen initiatives.

What You’ll Do:

  • Supervise associates in assigned departments, providing resources to maximize throughput and minimize waste while ensuring quality standards.
  • Ensure timely and effective completion of all tasks.
  • Provide daily supervision, including record keeping, attendance monitoring, performance evaluations, and recommendations for advancement or disciplinary actions.
  • Track department processing according to established TAT schedules and production goals.
  • Audit productivity and quality to ensure standards are met.
  • Identify root causes of failures and take corrective actions.
  • Communicate current operations and department status during shift handovers.
  • Inform senior management of issues affecting service levels.
  • Maintain quality assurance standards in collaboration with the Quality Services team.

Salary Range: $63,945 - $80,849. This range depends on factors such as education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and internal equity.
