The Operations Supervisor oversees a group of team members in a designated department, monitors team members’ productivity and work quality, and manages their performance. They use established procedures, tools, equipment, and technologies to effectively and efficiently complete work related to inbound and outbound processes within the Distribution Center.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plans and coordinates the workflow of the assigned department(s) within the DC to achieve production, quality, and safety standards, including monitoring staffing levels, reducing damages, and controlling supply costs.
• Responsible for training, developing, motivating, monitoring, and evaluating the performance of team members, ensuring productivity and accuracy standards are maintained.
• Evaluates and standardizes procedures to improve departmental efficiencies.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, ideally in Business Management or Supply Chain Management; High School Diploma required.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in a distribution center.
• At least 2 years of experience leading teams.
• Working knowledge of PKMS or related warehouse management systems.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Must be Guitar Center certified to operate all powered equipment, with certification completed within the first 90 days of employment.
