Job summary

Mosquito Authority of Southwest Louisiana is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee field operations in Lake Charles, LA. The role focuses on daily leadership of technicians, equipment readiness, and customer satisfaction, with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional Saturdays.

The position requires at least 2 years in supervision in a service setting, a valid U.S. driver’s license, and the ability to work outdoors.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory or managerial experience in a service company.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work in heat and other outdoor elements.
• Physically fit and able to carry up to 60 pounds.
• Preferred: Pest or mosquito control experience not required but preferred.
• Louisiana pesticide applicator license (not required).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations and lead technicians.
• Assign vehicles and equipment, monitor start times, and coordinate with Dispatch.
• Train, coach, and counsel technicians; conduct audits and performance reviews.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance for vehicles, equipment, and shop; ensure regulatory compliance.
