Job summary

Mosquito Authority of Southwest Louisiana is seeking a reliable Operations Supervisor to oversee field operations in the Lake Charles area. This full-time role focuses on daily leadership of technicians, equipment readiness, and regulatory compliance.

You will coordinate dispatch, supervise training, and ensure high standards of customer care. The position requires lifting up to 60 pounds, outdoor work in heat, and a valid Louisiana driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory or managerial experience in a service company.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work in heat and other outdoor elements
• Physically fit; able to carry up to 60 pounds

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and lead field staff to ensure service quality and efficiency.
• Conduct mornings meetings, assign vehicles and equipment, and monitor technician start times.
• Supervise, train, and coach Technicians; participate in hiring/firing decisions with ownership.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance for vehicles and shop; ensure equipment readiness and compliance.
• Troubleshoot and support Misting Systems (MS) and LIV system installs and repairs.
