Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 4 years related experience may substitute.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• 3 years of operations experience in a natural gas utility or related field; 4 years if no degree.
• Desirable: 1 year of supervisory/lead experience.

Responsibilities

• Creates general work assignments for the group and directs, schedules, and controls specific assignments as necessary, during normal work hours or emergency call-out.
• Ensures all personnel are properly trained in each aspect of their job.
• Provides goals and objectives, a budget to achieve these, and ensures proper cost management in area of responsibility.
• Ensures the group follows all guidelines related to loss control and provides adequate training and resources to accomplish work safely.
• Provides long-range direction regarding department goals and objectives.
