illumynt is also engaged in the business of wholesale distribution of technology equipment including computers, computer components and peripherals, networking and telecommunications hardware and other electronic products. We obtain supply on consignment and through direct purchase from end users, large manufacturers (OEM's) and distributers who find themselves with excess inventory. We re-sell those products to end users, other OEM's, distributers, resellers and brokers worldwide.

Position Summary:

The Operations Supervisor-Administration will be on-site and supports the 2553 Global Court, Groveport location by managing a dual function spanning Inventory Control and Environmental Health and Safety compliance. On the Inventory Control side, the Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all inventory management activities to ensure accurate stock levels, efficient inventory movement, and optimal product availability. This position will lead cycle count and physical inventory programs, investigate inventory discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to minimize losses and improve accuracy. Additionally, this position is responsible for developing key performance metrics, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that reduce costs, improve inventory turnover, and support overall business objectives. On the EHS side, this role is responsible for maintaining compliance with R2v3, TAPA, and OSHA standards; coordinating safety training programs; overseeing the Universal Waste Area; and conducting routine safety inspections and recordkeeping. Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in inventory management systems and data analysis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

(will include but not be limited to):

Inventory Control
  • Outbound load quality checks (BOL verification, load security, weight/dim accuracy)
  • Develop, implement, and maintain inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and root causes.
  • Analyze inventory trends, turnover, and stock levels to optimize inventory performance.
  • Coordinate with purchasing, production, and warehouse teams to ensure timely replenishment and product availability.
  • Manage inventory transactions, adjustments, and transfers within ERP/WMS systems.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory accuracy, shrinkage, and service levels.
  • Lead and develop inventory control staff through coaching, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Prepare reports and present inventory performance metrics to senior management.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements that reduce costs and increase operational efficiency.
  • Support audits by maintaining accurate inventory records and documentation.
EHS
  • Implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct workplace inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Develop and deliver employee safety training, orientation, and emergency preparedness programs.
  • Manage hazardous waste, chemical handling, and environmental compliance programs.
  • Coordinate emergency response planning, evacuation procedures, and business continuity efforts.
  • Partner with department managers to improve workplace safety and foster a proactive safety culture.
  • Maintain required safety documentation, permits, records, and regulatory reports.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce workplace incidents and environmental impact.
  • Stay current on regulatory changes and industry best practices.
