Job summary

Woodward, Inc. is seeking an Operations Supervisor – Repair & Overhaul for 2nd shift in LPC to lead frontline teams and ensure daily production targets are met. You will allocate resources, coach staff, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Operations Supervisor – Repair & Overhaul – 2nd Shift - LPC

  • Estimated annual base pay: $85,000.00 (minimum) - $110,000.00 (midpoint) - $136,000.00 (maximum)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Supervision: Provide direct support to front line team members in meeting their daily production targets to ensure customer expectations are met.
  • Resource Management: Allocates and coordinates resources effectively to meet operational objectives.
  • Performance Management: Conducts performance evaluations, provides feedback, manages member development, recognition and ensures accountability and policy adherence.
  • Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves day-to-day technical and operational issues and coaching and mentoring team's problem-solving capabilities.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborates with key stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness to improve the production system and meet customer demand.

  • Computer Skills: Strong skills in Excel, Power BI, or Tableau for operational reporting. Ability to analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities. Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like SAP. Basic understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) for inventory and production scheduling
  • Emotional Intelligence: The ability to recognize, understand, and manage your own emotions while effectively perceiving and responding to the emotions of others. This includes skills such as empathy, self-awareness, emotional regulation, social awareness, and relationship management to foster positive interactions and resolve challenges constructively.

Collaborates across teams, shares knowledge, and supports team goals. Builds strong cross‑functional relationships and fosters a collaborative culture.
