Job summary

Woodward, Inc. seeks skilled assemblers for a second-shift role (Mon-Thu 3:00pm–1:30am) in Colorado. The team assembles and tests products, adheres to 5S/quality standards, and participates in continuous improvement with safety at the forefront.

Responsibilities

  • Level 1: Assemble Product per documented procedures using tools/equipment.
  • Level 1: Test Product per documented procedures and record data.
  • Level 1: Conduct inspections to verify accuracy and functionality; maintain data.
  • Level 1: Maintain 5S at workstations; proper storage of tools/materials.
  • Level 1: Follow safety protocols and maintain safe work area.
  • Level 2: Assist training of other members and suggest improvements to standard work.
  • Level 2: Troubleshoot testing issues and support changeovers.
  • Level 2: Participate in process improvements and escalation when needed.
  • Level 2: Collaborate across teams to support goals.

  • Estimated annual base pay:

  • Level 1: $18.27(minimum) - $24.04(midpoint) - $29.33(maximum) Plus overtime

  • Level 2: $21.15(minimum) -$27.40(midpoint) - $33.65(maximum)

Level 1:
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble Product: Follows documented procedures to accurately and efficiently assemble product components using specified tools and equipment.

  • Test Product: Follows documented procedures to accurately and efficiently test product using specified tools and equipment,

  • Quality: Conducts inspections and tests to verify the accuracy and functionality of products and records and maintains data per operating standards.

  • Organization & Cleanliness: Adheres to 5S principles by keeping workstations clean, organized, and free of unnecessary items. Follows established guidelines to ensure tools, materials, and equipment are properly stored and maintained.

  • Safety Mindset: Adheres to all established safety protocols, procedures, and regulatory requirements; maintains mindfulness of self and surrounding work area to promote a safe working environment.

  • Test Product: Follows procedures, troubleshoots common testing issues, provides feedback to assembly teams or supervisors to address recurring problems, conducts test setup changeovers, and supports training of less experienced members.

  • Quality Control: Participates to improve clarity and accuracy in documented processes and procedures.

  • Organization & Cleanliness: Proactively applies 5S principles, identifies opportunities to improve workstation organization and cleanliness, and ensures compliance with team standards. Assists in implementing new organizational practices as directed.

  • Safety Mindset: Encourages adherence to safety protocols within the team.
