Rodeo Sanitary District in Hercules, CA is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead the wastewater treatment plant and collection system operations. Reporting to the Chief Plant Operator, you will supervise operations and maintenance staff and ensure reliable, compliant process performance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise operations and maintenance staff for the treatment plant, pump stations, and collection system.
• Oversee daily operations and maintenance activities and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Implement SOPs and manage preventative maintenance programs.
• Act as Operator in Charge when needed and coordinate with the Chief Plant Operator.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting as required by regulatory agencies.
• Ensure safety and environmental protections across all operations.

Operations Supervisor – Wastewater Treatment

Rodeo Sanitary District is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead our wastewater treatment plant and collection system operations.

The District is offering A $10,000 SIGNING BONUS for this position!

Reporting to the Chief Plant Operator, this key supervisory role oversees daily operations and maintenance of the treatment plant, pump stations, and collection system. You will supervise operations and maintenance staff, ensure regulatory compliance, implement SOPs, manage preventative maintenance programs, and act as Operator in Charge when needed.

Requirements:

• California Grade III Wastewater Treatment Operator Certificate
• Minimum 5 years of wastewater operations experience, including 3 years supervisory/lead experience
• Strong leadership, technical, and problem-solving skills
• This position has significant move-up potential for top level performance
• Possess or be able to attain a CA Class B driver’s license within 6 months
