Job summary

Nutrien in Whitehall, IL is seeking a warehouse leader to manage delivery drivers and the warehouse team, oversee inventory, and assist in hiring seasonal staff while ensuring safety, compliance, and training at the location.

You will supervise maintenance, paperwork, and dispatch of trucks, operating equipment and upholding Nutrien's culture of care and excellence across daily operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership experience in agriculture or related field.
• College degree preferred.
• Proficient use of Excel, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Order and maintain inventory with coordination of branch manager.
• Assist in hiring seasonal staff and supervise all other warehouse staff and ensure proper training.
• Oversee maintenance, cleanliness, and repairs of facilities and equipment.
• Dispatch of trucks in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Assemble customer orders and ensure paperwork is completed fully and timely.

What You'll Do:

• Manage delivery drivers and warehouse team for the location
• Order and maintain inventory with coordination of branch manager
• Assist in hiring seasonal staff and supervise all other warehouse staff and ensure proper training is provided
• Oversee maintenance, cleanliness, and repairs of facilities and equipment
• Ensure SH&E compliance at the location
• Ensure paperwork is completed fully and in a timely manner
• Handle and deliver bulk and packaged chemicals and seed
• Maintain application maintenance records
• Operate small mobile equipment (forklift, frontend loader, etc.)
• Operates computers on equipment
• Dispatch of trucks in compliance with DOT regulations
• Report any safety concerns to the branch manager as soon as they areidentified
• Assemble customerorders
• Plan and develop policy, procedures, and ensures team adherence
• Perform any other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring:

• 2+ years of leadership experience in agriculture or a combination of educationand work experience
• College degree is preferred
• Proficient useof computer programs to include Excel, Word, Outlook
• Willingness to travel
• Clean Driving Record

The salary range for this role, in Whitehall, IL location, is between $56,600 to $60,100. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.
