Job description
Manages the day-to-day operations of water and/or wastewater plant(s) in accordance with Company policies and procedures and all applicable governmental laws and regulations.
Key Accountabilities:
Assist with preparing and controlling local construction, operations, and maintenance within established budget limitations. (10%)
Establish a program that will ensure all EPA Partnership for Safe Water goals are met on a period-by-period basis. (10%)
Ensure local water and/or wastewater operations meet required standards and regulatory compliance targets. (10%)
Supervise the implementation of standard, targets, policies, and plans to increase operational efficiency and effectiveness. (10%)
Ensure operational integrity including quality, safety, reliability, health, and environmental compliance. (10%)
Develop and direct cost-effective solutions to meet customer and technical requirements and encourage innovation. (10%)
Implement effective reporting processes and provide analysis to the Production Director for reports, budgets, and business plans.
Provide coaching, development, and leadership to employees.
Reinforce workforce diversity and inclusive practices.
Support Business Development in operational analysis, pricing, and integration for water and wastewater opportunities.
Work collaboratively across regulated and non-regulated markets to mitigate business risk.
