Job summary

MedSpeed is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Tacoma to oversee the daily healthcare transportation network, supervise Logistics Service Representatives, manage client relationships, and achieve location service quality and profit goals.

Responsibilities include recruiting, onboarding, coaching, route observations, data maintenance, and coordinating maintenance with vendors, while promoting a strong MedSpeed culture. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred and 1-3 years’ experience is expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • 1-3 years of progressive business experience preferred.
  • Experience applying quality management principles.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer relation skills, demonstrated ability to interact with key decision makers.
  • Process-oriented mindset focused on continuous improvement, excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative work style, able to work well within and across departments.
  • Result & action oriented with a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Logistics Service Representatives, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management and development.
  • Manage service quality and efficiency through daily observations and performance reports.
  • Perform route observations to ensure safety, procedures, and identify improvements.
  • Ensure accuracy and ongoing system maintenance of route, client and stop data.
  • Review vehicle inspection checklists and coordinate repairs and maintenance.
  • Assist operations team with projects to improve efficiency and quality.
  • All other job-related duties as assigned.

Operations Supervisor

Monday-Friday: 12 PM - 9 PM

Our Operations Supervisor role is responsible for the daily operation of a healthcare transportation network, including supervision and coaching of Logistics Service Representatives, management of client relationships, and attainment of location service quality and profit objectives.

How you Will Contribute:
  • Overall leadership of Logistics Service Representatives, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management and development
  • Manage service quality and efficiency through daily observations, monitoring of exception and performance reports and follow up coaching
  • Perform Logistics Service Representative route observations to ensure compliance with safety, client and operational procedures and identify improvement opportunities
  • Ensure accuracy and ongoing system maintenance of route, client and variable stop data
  • Review daily vehicle pre/post trip inspection checklists, coordinate repairs and maintenance with vendors and maintain maintenance history file
  • Assist operations team with projects to improve operational efficiency and service quality
  • All other job-related duties as assigned

Skills for Success:

The salary for this role ranges from $72,000 to $80,307, depending on factors like experience, skills, and location. A discretionary bonus is also available.
