Job summary

Emerald Technologies in Saline, MI is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead daily team activities, ensure timely completion, and uphold quality and safety standards. This full-time role requires coaching, performance evaluations, and managing timekeeping and scheduling in accordance with policies.

You will partner with HR and management to address disciplinary actions and monitor KPIs while driving process improvements and fostering a positive, inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Ability to lead teams, manage performance, and handle sensitive personnel matters with professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting and acting on KPIs and performance data.
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant systems and tools (e.g., timekeeping software, reporting tools, performance management platforms).

Responsibilities

  • Monitor performance against KPIs and productivity metrics; implement action plans for improvement.
  • Support team development by identifying training needs and mentoring employees.
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex issues, customer concerns, or operational challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align goals and optimize workflow.

Emerald Technologies has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Supervisor on its Saline, MI team! Emerald Technologies is seeking a results-driven and people-focused Supervisor to lead and manage the day-to-day operations for their assigned team. This role carries formal leadership authority and is responsible for driving performance, ensuring compliance, developing team members, and maintaining high operational standards.

The Supervisor plays a key role in executing the company's strategy by aligning team activities with business goals, managing personnel matters, and tracking performance against defined KPIs and metrics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Directly supervise daily team activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to quality and efficiency standards.
  • Approve timecards, time-off requests, and schedule changes in accordance with company policies.
