Hajoca Corporation is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead a Profit Center in the Phoenix area. You will drive efficiency, supervise a team, and ensure safety, accuracy, and customer satisfaction across daily operations.

The role requires strong leadership and the ability to analyze performance data to maximize profitability and inventory control in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of operations experience.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.

• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT and safety regulations.
• Ability to interpret performance reports and adjust processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operations are efficient, effective, and profitable.
• Manage processes across the Profit Center and pursue productivity improvements.
• Supervise a team and provide training to ensure policy adherence.
• Serve as escalated contact for inquiries and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Analyze sales and inventory performance and implement strategies to increase sales and ROI.
• Review daily sales and inventory reports and address issues.
• Ensure accurate annual Physical Inventory and manage assets.
• Resolve customer, vendor, and carrier complaints quickly.
• Maintain safe working environment per regulations.
• Safeguard Profit Center assets and complete required safety training.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

About the Role:

You will:

• Ensure that all business operations are being conducted in the most efficient, effective, and profitable manner.

• Manage the processes used in all aspects of the Profit Center’s business, solve problems as they arise, and continually investigate the possibility of productivity improvements.

• Supervise a team of profit center teammates.

• Provide training and guidance to profit center teammates to ensure adherence to company policies and delivery procedures.

• Serve as an escalated point of contact for inquiries or concerns and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

• Analyze sales and inventory performance reports and implement appropriate strategies to increase sales, improve operating efficiencies, manage assets, and increase return on investment and profit sharing.

• Review daily sales and inventory reports and address issues immediately.

• Evaluate inventory management reports regularly to ensure an accurate and efficient annual Physical Inventory.

• Resolve all customer, vendor, and carrier complaints and disputes quickly and effectively.

• Ensure the Profit Center conducts all business in accordance with Company policy and procedures.
• Maintain and insist upon a safe working environment in compliance with the company’s Safety Standards, OSHA, and any other applicable regulations.

• Safeguard and maintain all Profit Center assets – buildings, fleet, equipment, inventory, and receivables.

• Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.
• Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.

About You:

• 3+ years operations experience

• Effectively use Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel) to communicate via email, to maintain customer and vendor contact files and appointments, and to analyze performance data.

• Possess and maintain product knowledge related to the specific Profit Center market.

• Be able to build and maintain influential relationships with customers and vendors.

• Possess a comprehensive knowledge of and able to apply and enforce OSHA, DOT and other material handling and facility safety regulations.
• Be able to learn and operate the computer related systems used for business operations.
• Be able to quickly develop a comprehensive knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center.

• Be able to safely operate a forklift and all material handling equipment in use at the Profit Center.
• Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Effectively read, write, speak, and understand English.

Additional Details:

This role will also include inside sales and purchasing responsibilities. The ideal candidate should be comfortable assisting customers, processing orders, and supporting purchasing needs as required.
