Job summary

Diamond Environmental Services LP is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor for LA County. This in-person role leads daily transportation operations, ensures safety and on-time delivery, and focuses on service excellence.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, fluent English and Spanish, and a solid understanding of DOT/CHP rules. Applicants must submit DMV K4 printout and have a CA license with a clean record.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• 2+ years in transportation industry.
• 2+ years of supervisory/management experience.
• Strong knowledge of DOT and CHP regulations.
• Experience conducting driver-safety training.
• Skilled in customer service and complaint resolution.
• Valid CA Driver’s License and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Support and implement policies focused on quality, cost reduction, safety, on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, employee relations, and site performance.
• Conduct driver-safety training and ensure compliance with DOT and company safety standards.
• Plan and oversee work procedures using manuals and practical experience with DOT-regulated vehicles.
• Lead and coach employees with effective communication and professional development strategies.
• Guide drivers through physicals, drug/alcohol testing, and DMV knowledge/skills testing.
• Adhere to company rules and ensure punctual attendance.
• Uphold and protect the company’s brand and public image.
• Complete all assigned work and required documentation accurately.
• Minimize internal and external customer complaints.
• Meet or exceed safety, service, and productivity standards.
• Lead issue resolution efforts for faster improvements and better team dynamics.
• Ensure compliance with cost control, waste reduction, safety, and timely delivery goals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
