Job summary

Keurig Dr Pepper is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Vernon, CA to lead production operators across multiple packaging lines and drive performance on the 2nd shift. You will coach the team, manage labor and operating expenses, and coordinate packaging activities with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity.

You will review production records, implement improvements, and develop staff while maintaining compliance with site goals and company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' supervisory level experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and data-based problem solving.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel and Word; SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Shift & Schedule:

This is a full time position on 2nd Shift Monday - Friday 1:00pm - 10:00pm. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays is required as scheduled.

Operations Supervisor - Vernon, CA

As an Operations Production Supervisor you are responsible for overall operating performance of Keurig Dr Pepper processing operations. You will work with the team to streamline efficiency of coffee flow with emphasis on safety, quality, delivery, and improving financial results.

Position Responsibilities

• Direct and coach production operators in the execution of daily/weekly production schedules for multiple packaging lines.
• Manage within labor and operating expense budget.
• Coordinate beverages packaging ensuring safety, quality and productivity while minimizing waste.
• Meet the productivity, quality, safety, health, environmental and morale goals established for the site.
• Complete and update all necessary production paperwork and record.
• Ensure equipment in the area assigned is in working order and that working conditions are safe at all times.
• Review and analyze production records to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Make recommendations for long-term solutions, including recommendations for replacing equipment, refurbishing equipment, procedural changes, productivity improvement, material change, etc., related to the area of accountability.
• Drive the continuous improvement agenda in area of responsibility through teamwork, skills and capability development.

Total Rewards

• $70,500 - $90,000

Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors

Requirements

• H.S. Diploma Required, bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years' supervisory level experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food and beverage industry, preferred
• Experience with lean manufacturing, pull and visual systems and clear understanding of TQM and use of tools and data for problem solving, decision making and continuous improvement preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word with demonstrated knowledge of productivity tracking
• Experience with SAP or similar system preferred
• Must be comfortable developing and conducting group presentations to employees and management
• Provides current, direct, complete and “actionable” positive and corrective feedback to others
