Job summary

Brink's in Juneau, AK seeks a Branch Operations Manager to oversee ARM/ATM/CIT, Vault, Safe & Key, and Brinks Safe Products. Lead Union and Non-Union teams, drive efficiency, ensure safety, and uphold stringent security standards.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will manage scheduling, labor relations, customer service metrics, and compliance with CSR/RMS. A firearms license and flexible hours are required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Operations Management for ARM/ATM/CIT, Vault, Safe & Key, and Brinks Safe Products.
• Ensure minimum productivity standards for MAC and Cash in Transit.
• Maintain routes and schedule CIT runs; vault opening/closing and balancing.
• Lead Labour Relations and ensure proper staffing, discipline, and CBAs.
• Respond to customer inquiries and complete monthly SLA reporting.
• Enforce CSR/RMS procedures and regional requirements for security.
• Promote Health & Safety; participate in meetings and inspections.
• Perform record keeping, payroll functions, inventory control, and approvals.
• Provide fleet maintenance and minor repairs as needed.

About the job

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the incumbent will oversee various lines of business (ARM/ATM/CIT, Vault, Safe & Key and Brinks Safe Products) at their assigned location. With an emphasis on team leadership (Union and Non-Union) and process improvement, ensuring proper operating procedures, and adherence to safety and security regulations, while maximizing profitability and maintaining customer service standards.

Responsibilities

Operations Management

• Ensure minimum productivity standards for MAC (Customer Service Response Times) and Cash in Transit (Stops/Hour)
• Maintain routes in Ocean and schedule CIT runs out of the branch
• Responsible for daily opening of the vault; check-out & in of liability; vault balancing; providing direction and allocation of resources

Employee & Labour Relations

• Ensure demonstration and promotion of both Company Values and Success Factors
• Engage in active communication with all branch employees to promote engagement & wellbeing
• Ensure grievances are addressed in a timely fashion; make recommendations for disciplinary actions; administration of applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement
• Ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained and scheduling creation and posting

Customer Service

• Respond to customer inquiries as required and assist in finding solutions to any unresolved issues
• Completion of monthly customer SLA reporting

Security Protocol Enforcement

• Compliance with procedures and processes are performed in accordance with the CSR/RMS and Regional requirements

Branch Health & Safety

• Promote and ensure a physically and mentally safe working environment through the enforcement of all Health and Safety policies
• Investigate any workplace vehicle accidents or personal injuries in association with Joint Health & Safety Committees, ensuring findings and corrective action are reported and actioned as required
• If acting as a Health and Safety Representative, participate in monthly Health and Safety meetings, complete building safety inspections and vehicle inspections
• Must complete the company standard Health & Safety training online

Administration

• Record keeping; payroll functions; inventory control and supply ordering
• Maintain Petty Cash
• Month End reporting: review billing and provide appropriate approvals
• Invoice processing
• Data entry (internal inventory system)
• Selection and interviewing of candidates

Fleet Maintenance

• Technical knowledge and ability to perform minor vehicle repairs and maintenance
• Ensure the fleet is in good working order and preventative maintenance schedules comply with company policy
