AKIRA seeks an Operations Supervisor to lead a 25-100 associate team on the 2nd shift in Chicagoland (Bolingbrook, IL). The role requires coaching, policy communication, and driving performance while managing daily shift operations and safety. First-shift training is required.

Offer includes full-time hours with a $70,000–$80,000 annual pay, and benefits. The successful candidate will monitor quality, meet demand, and foster employee development in a fast-paced, fashion-forward environment.

Qualifications

2nd Shift Monday - Friday 5:00PM-1:00AM

Essential Functions:

• Coach, manage, and develop a team of 25-100 associates
• Communicate policies to your team and act as the primary information source for the team- maintaining compliance, consistency, and taking corrective action when needed
• Develop performance goals and objectives to achieve customer demand and ensure accuracy and quality
• Create daily shift plans and execute shift operations
• Maintain a safe, orderly, and clean working environment
• Maintain adequate levels of supplies required to fill foreseeable needs
• Complete all necessary administrative duties in a timely manner
• Work overtime depending on business needs
• Inspire and lead a wide variety of employees to work together for the shared business goals

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years as a Warehouse/Distribution/Shift Supervisor, managing 10+ employees
• Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
• Adept at the ability to motivate others in a deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to analyze and dive deep into data to provide thought-provoking, workable business solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong leadership skills - ability to inspire and unafraid to deal with difficulty
• Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
• Painstaking attention to detail - ability to spot potential issues and create systems to prevent them
• Flexibility - comfort with change in process, requirements, or schedule
• Very strong work ethic - ability to lead by example
