The role includes cleaning duties and collaboration with a large team at Arvest Convention Center. The position requires flexibility to work nights and weekends, and physical ability to lift and move equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work nights and weekends, with some overnights.
• Be reliable, punctual and able to lift heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in facility-wide conversions.
• Develop a wide array of specialized changeover skills, including setting up and breaking down basketball courts, dashers, floors, risers, chairs, tables, and stages.
• Assist with overall cleaning of the building to ensure readiness for events; provide housekeeping assistance during events.
• Work effectively in a large team-based environment.
• Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.

Position Summary

The Operations Staff p erforms the setup and changeover on an event-to-event basis in order to ensure complete adherence to the event schedule as well as tenant contractual specifications and requirements. Also, the role assists with cleaning the convention center to help maintain the cleanliness of the building. Overnight hours can be expected on occasion.

This role will pay an hourly rate of $16.00.

About The Venue

The Arvest Convention Center, located in the Arena District in downtown Tulsa, is a modern and award-winning venue providing over 275,000 square feet of flexible meeting space. Owned by the City of Tulsa for over 50 years, the ACC has been host to every kind of event imaginable and proudly serves the citizens of Tulsa and guests from around the world.

• Must be available to work a flexible schedule consisting of nights and weekends. Shifts regularly occur overnight.
• Be reliable, honest, dependable, and punctual.
• Must be able to regularly lift and carry heavy equipment and supplies.
• Possess knowledge of basic hand tools and their uses.
