Job summary

Legends Global in Punta Gorda, FL is seeking a versatile facilities worker to support event setup, conversion, and day-to-day operations. The role involves setting up and tearing down flooring, chairs, walls, barricades, staging, and other equipment for events.

You will also assist with cleaning, basic maintenance, and waste disposal, ensuring safety and order throughout events. A High School diploma or GED is required, with 1–3 months related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all aspects of event setup, conversion, and teardown.
• Support day-to-day facility operations, including loading/unloading and waste removal.
• Help clean and maintain equipment before and after events (sweeping, mopping, dusting).
• Perform repairs and basic maintenance on tables, chairs, and stage elements.
• Report irregularities, safety concerns, and equipment damage to supervisor or manager.
• May be asked to perform other duties as assigned.

• Participate in all aspects of the conversion process in preparation for events. Duties may include setting up and tearing down flooring, portable chairs, operable walls, stage barricades, staging, bike rack, turnstiles, tables, other furnishings and equipment.
• Perform various duties to ensure the day-to-day operations of the facility are met. These include but are not limited to event setup, loading/unloading delivery trucks, transporting trash and waste to proper disposal areas.
• Assist with pre/post event cleaning of operational equipment, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, vacuuming, spot cleaning and washing.
• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks on equipment such as tables, chairs, staging, stage barricades, stage stairs, bike rack and retractable seating.
• Report irregularities, discrepancies, damage of equipment and property, loss of property and equipment and safety concerns promptly to supervisor, manager and director.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Education And/or Experience
