Legends Global at Koka Booth Amphitheatre in Cary, NC is seeking an Operations Staff member to assist with setup and teardown for each event and to help guests with information in a friendly, helpful manner. The role requires mobility, physical stamina, and a positive attitude, with availability across days, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities include reading event sheets, preparing for shifts, and supporting venue management according to policy.

Koka Booth Amphitheatre Cary, NCPOSITION: Operations StaffDEPARTMENT: OperationsREPORTS TO: Operations ManagerHourly Rate: $16.50Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has several openings for the Operations Staff at Koka Booth Amphitheatre for its season. The Operations Staff will be primarily responsible for setting up and breaking down event specific requirements for scheduled events.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Be available for work hours during the day and weekendsHours per week will vary depending on the event schedule and work availableRead and understand events sheet prior to each eventAssist in setting up, breaking down event requirements as neededAssist patrons with general venue/event information in a positive and friendly mannerAssist Koka Booth Amphitheatre management, Town of Cary staff and/or other venue employees as requested by supervisorsArrive prepared for work based on the event, weather forecast and department/venue policiesOther duties may be assignedQUALIFICATIONS:Ability to follow both written and oral direction with minimal continuous supervisionAbility to work during all weather conditionsFlexible schedule with availability on nights and weekendsAbility to read and implement basic diagramsAbility to repetitively lift up to 70 pounds from ground level to tabletop height without assistanceAbility to move/control weighted equipment up/down inclines and over uneven surfaces in all weather conditionsAbility to kneel, bend, climb, crawl to complete the taskAbility navigate/stabilize self on all surfaces in all weather conditions, including but not limited to: gravel, pine straw, grass, pavers, concrete, asphaltPositive and outgoing attitudeProficient in basic math skillsAttention to detailMust be 18 years oldPHYSICAL DEMANDS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
