Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. in Boston, MA seeks a Global Institutional Middle Office professional to manage custody reconciliations, trade processing, and relationships for institutional clients.
The role supports post‑execution and pre‑settlement functions across multiple custodians and service providers. The candidate will work in a hybrid Boston office, coordinating with front‑office, oversight, and back-office teams while handling claims, income collection, and risk mitigation.
The Global Institutional Middle Office (GIMO) acts as a conduit between a client’s front‑office trading, oversight functions, and back‑office servicing centers. This role is responsible for custody reconciliations, including matching and trade dissemination to the broker, the custodian and the fund accounting agent for BBH’s institutional clients. It also handles relationship management, processing and escalating claims, income collection, corporate actions, collateral management, failed trade monitoring, post‑execution and pre‑settlement functions, and creates consolidated views to support clients across all custodians and service providers.
Salary Range (MA): $45,000 - $60,000 base salary plus an annual target bonus. BBH’s compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit‑sharing. The anticipated base salary range shown above is for the Boston location and may differ in other locations.
