Norfolk Iron in New Century, KS is seeking a hands-on operator to read orders, build wooden skids, and safely operate radial saw, nail gun, forklift and overhead crane. You will package skids for shipping and assist in loading trucks while maintaining accurate shipping paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Reads/understands orders daily.
• Builds wooden skids.
• Safely operates radial saw and nail gun.
• Builds and packages skids of flat rolled metal for shipping.
• Operates forklift, man lift, and overhead crane according to procedure.
• Assists in loading trucks.
• Verifies paperwork in systems.
• Moves material to designated areas.
• Participates in safety and hazard communications trainings.
