Job summary

Focus Partners Wealth LLC is seeking an Operations Specialist in Clayton, MO to support money movement, account maintenance, and new account openings. You will maintain high service levels, communicate with custodians and clients, and help resolve custodial issues while collaborating with advisors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field and 1+ years of operations and/or client service experience; OR High School Diploma and 3+ years in financial services.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver high-quality service to maintain standards and exceed client expectations.
• Collaborate with Client Service and other departments to support shared objectives.
• Communicate clearly with clients, custodians, and internal stakeholders via phone and email.
• Provide timely information to resolve inquiries and update account statuses.
• Proactively anticipate issues and resolve complex situations.
• Assist with processing of monetary transactions and account maintenance.
• Serve as liaison between custodians, advisors, and clients to resolve custodial issues.
• Produce reports for advisors and clients as needed.
• Support special projects and participate in team meetings and trainings.
