Job Description

Conduct complex analysis, mining, and visualization of data sets including transactional, sales, operations, and finance data to provide insights, forecasts, decision tools, and optimization programs. Leverage technical skills and creative thinking to solve problems and support business decisions. Work with advanced tools at the intersection of technology and business to utilize Big Data effectively. Understand data storage architectures, extract and process raw data, and generate actionable insights. Use tools such as Microsoft SQL Server, Python, R, Spark, etc., to access data warehouses. Communicate findings through presentations and visualizations. Build models to develop recommendations for business objectives, and present these to senior management. This is a remote position available anywhere in the United States.

Minimum Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Statistics, Math, Data Analytics, Information Science, or a related field.
• At least six (6) months of experience in designing and building data visualizations and dashboards, performing statistical tests (Chi-Squared, T-tests) using Tableau, R, or Python.
• Experience in implementing analytical results into production environments, designing A/B tests, data querying/extraction (SQL), and research design.
