To qualify you must have a bachelor’s degree in Operations Research or at least 24 semester hours in related math/stat subjects (calculus required), and one year of specialized experience at GS-12/13 level equivalents. Volunteer or paid experience may count toward eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research or 24 sem hours in math/stat courses with calculus.
• Experience applying mathematical modeling and statistical methods.
• Experience leading quantitative analyses and projects.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop and adapt mathematical and statistical methods to analyze significant problems.
• Use simulations to identify scenarios and prepare study plans with milestones and expected improvements.
• Lead study groups on modeling, statistics, optimization, and probability; assign work and review progress.
