Job summary

The Air Force Research Laboratory is seeking a cost estimating and earned value management expert at GS-12/13 level to support multiple duty locations, including Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. The role emphasizes leading analyses and providing technical cost guidance to project teams.

Applicants must meet APDP and DAWIA requirements with a degree in operations research or related math/statistics coursework; security clearance is required. Telework is situational where eligible.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain/maintain security clearance.
• APDP Level 2 Non-Critical certification in Business-Cost Estimating (P) required.
• Meet DAWIA requirements applicable to duties.
• At least 1 year (52 weeks) specialized experience at next lower grade in Federal service or equivalent.
• Degree in operations research or 24 semester hours in math/stat topics with calculus coursework.
• Will consider 24-month timeline to meet APDP requirements or waiver.

• Lead time-sensitive projects, analyses, and support.
• Provide technical and cost guidance, advisory support.
• Design, develop, and adapt mathematical, statistical, econometric methods.
• Perform cost and operations research analyses with innovative techniques.
