Job summary

Capital Group is seeking a Senior Operations Relationship Manager to establish and maintain senior executive-level relationships with top intermediary clients. You will ensure smooth operational trading and resolve issues while owning relationships for a defined group of firms.

You will collaborate with internal and external partners to remove barriers, drive strategic guidance, and support business objectives in a dynamic, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive background in mutual funds covering investment, distribution and operations.
• Knowledge of current and future policies, practices, trends and technology impacting the department.
• Strong communicator with ability to influence across levels including senior leadership.
• Ability to negotiate and voice opinions confidently.
• Skilled at building relationships and driving solutions with business partners.
• Proven track record of strategic guidance and leveraging internal relationships.

As a Senior Operations Relationship Manager, you will be tasked with establishing, developing, and maintaining senior executive-level operational relationships with top intermediary customers. You will represent American Funds to ensure effective operational trading and resolve issues. You will have primary ownership of the operational relationships for a defined set of firms. Additionally, you will leverage, build, and maintain strong business relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to alleviate operational barriers that may hinder our primary business objectives with these firms.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $185,107-$314,682San Antonio Base Salary Range: $166,702-$283,393New York Base Salary Range: $196,239-$333,606Indianapolis Base Salary Range: $169,629-$288,369

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
