The BAE Systems Combat Mission Systems (CMS) site in York, Pennsylvania is seeking an Operations Quality Engineer II in support of 2nd Shift. In this role, you will develop, modify, apply, and maintain quality evaluation and control systems and protocols in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for ensuring requirements are met across multiple functional areas of the ACV vehicle platform. As this position supports the 2nd shift (2PM-10PM), you will often work independently to define specific tasks and priorities to support operations quality.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and two (2) years of related experience (e.g., Quality Assurance, Quality Control), or an Associate's degree with four (4) years of related experience, or equivalent.
  • Experience operating within ISO 9001 standards.
  • Strong background in problem-solving techniques (A3, DMAIC, etc.).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and industry-related database applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical ability.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Availability to support the 2nd shift, 2PM to 10PM. Training will be provided on the day shift.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • ASQ Certification preferred.
  • Experience supporting government contracts, preferably DoD, in a quality program.
  • Formal training in root cause analysis is preferred.
  • Experience implementing APQP in a low-rate, technically complex product environment is preferred.
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $70,735 - $120,250

Please note: Salaries are based on market pay structures and influenced by factors such as skills, education, experience, business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity.
