Qualifications

  • 5+ years in operations management or large-scale manufacturing project management.
  • Lean-Six Sigma Greenbelt or Black Belt certification required; others considered
  • Experience with Lean Material Replenishment, Flow Systems and TPM
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, supply chain, or related field
  • PMP certification preferred; finance/P&L experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead deployment of large-scale strategic initiatives from ideation to closure across the North American manufacturing network.
  • Align remote stakeholders around common objectives and maintain accountability.
  • Develop project plans including scope, resourcing, timing, and budget.
  • Monitor and communicate performance status and escalations to leadership.
  • Create countermeasures for missed milestones and expedite resolutions.
  • Foster a collaborative environment to develop employees and ensure long-term stability.
  • Own realization of business benefits and operational performance improvements.
  • Influence senior leaders and site leadership without direct authority.

Program Lead (Operations Program Manager)

Provides leadership for large-scale, cross-functional business initiatives spanning multi-site manufacturing operations, engineering, supply chain, finance, and commercial teams. Drives successful execution of enterprise-wide operational transformation programs that improve safety, quality, delivery, inventory, productivity, and profitability.

This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to effectively collaborate with production teams, cross-functional stakeholders, senior leadership, customers, and external partners. The successful candidate will consistently deliver projects on schedule and within budget while leading teams to achieve strategic and operational objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead large scale strategic initiative deployment from ideation to project closure in the North American manufacturing network.
  • Align remote stakeholders around common business objectives and maintain accountability
  • Develop project plans that include scope, resourcing, timing, and budget
  • Effectively monitor and communicate performance status and escalations across various levels of leadership
  • Develop countermeasures for missed milestones and expedite issue resolution
  • Foster a collaborative environment to continuously develop employees and ensure long-term operational stability
  • Accountable for realization of business benefits and operational performance improvements.
  • Influences senior leaders and site leadership teams without direct authority.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years operations management and/or large-scale manufacturing capital project management responsibility; Prefer 8-10+ years of manufacturing, operational excellence, or program management experience.
  • Documented Lean-Six Sigma Greenbelt or Blackbelt training required; however, other comparable LSS certifications or training may be considered
  • Experience with Lean Material Replenishment, Flow Systems (eg. Replenishment Pull Systems, CONWIP, Heijunka, Tugger Train use, etc) and Total Productive Maintenance
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations management, supply chain, or other comparable field required
  • Advanced degree preferred but not required
  • PMP certification preferred but not required
  • Significant finance experience, especially P&L responsibility, is a PLUS
  • Experience in discrete and continuous manufacturing environments, make to order and build to stock business models
  • Bilingual is a plus
  • Geographic preference: Resident office; Proximity to OC Doors site and major airport hub desired. Charlotte or Dallas area preferred
  • Percentage of travel 25-50%
