Operations Program Engineer

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math)
  2. Above average knowledge of Excel, data manipulation and synthesis, project development, and Gantt chart development
  3. 2+ years of relevant experience
  4. Proficient with MS Office applications including Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint
  5. Ability to communicate effectively across organizational levels with excellent presentation skills

We are seeking an Integration Tool Engineer working on Control Account Management. This role involves managing tooling work for various programs, collaborating with design and manufacturing engineering, program leadership, business management, and scheduling teams to gather information for cost control, forecasting, and proposals. The CAM will update Earned Value Management (EVM) tools, produce data reports, review monthly EV data, and support program requirements. The individual will also manage multiple projects, working directly with Tool Design Engineering and fabrication teams, both in-house and offsite.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage engineering projects related to tool design and fabrication, focusing on cost and schedule adherence
  • Collaborate across functions and report on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies
  • Gain comprehensive understanding of tools used in aircraft component manufacturing
  • Coordinate with technical leadership and cross-functional teams to meet program objectives
  • Develop and deliver presentations to stakeholders
  • Plan, monitor, control, and complete various project tasks
  • Perform Control Account Management duties, track budgets, and analyze financial performance
  • Participate in CAM status calls and meetings, update schedules and reports
  • Coordinate change requests with business and scheduling teams
  • Work towards targeted cost, schedule, and staffing goals
  • Support logistics, staffing, and forecasting activities
  • Facilitate internal staffing and risk assessments
  • Monitor project requirements, traceability, and action items
