Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking an Operations Project Management professional to join our on-site team in Oklahoma City. You will oversee project operations, manage procurement for parts, forecast invoices, and coordinate between project management, planning, engineering, and global supply chain to ensure timely deliveries and successful program outcomes.

Essential duties include reconciling BOMs, monitoring procurement progress, resolving supply chain hurdles, and preparing EVMS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent with 2+ years experience in project/program management, business management, price/cost, finance, data analytics or subcontracts.
• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and manages the operational aspects of projects with a focus on part procurement and tracking and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, engineering, global supply chain, and line management.
• Perform CAM duties - forecasting invoices, managing procurement budgets, EVMS reporting on Cost or Schedule issues - regarding part procurement and supplier deliverables.
• Assesses procurement issues - long lead items, alternate approvals, and develops resolutions to meet program goals and objectives.
• Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
• Review engineering documentation to understand procurement requirements and reconcile BOM artifacts to own the master list of parts.
• Forecasts when invoices are expected and communicate ERP issues to leadership.
