Hourly Range: $9.88 $11.02/hr

Summary -

Responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of a park unit to ensure quality services, facilities and amenities and a safe environment.

Responsibilities -

  • Park maintenance - Maintain parks, parkways, facilities and amenities including, but not limited to, mowing, athletic field preparation, rental facility cleaning and prep, shoveling, plowing, wading pool operations, debris removal, weeding, pruning, planting and watering trees.
  • Equipment maintenance - Inspect and maintain all equipment and tools related to the performance of job duties.

Minimum Requirements -

  • Current resident of Wisconsin.
  • 16 years old at the time of application.
  • Ability to lift/carry/pull/push 50 lbs.

NOTE: This original application is open to permanent residents of the state of Wisconsin at the time of application. In accordance with Section 11, Rule 3 of the Civil Service Rules a non-competitive examination will be held for this position. The non-competitive examination will consist of criteria deemed appropriate by the Director of Human Resources.
