Job summary

JJ Food Service Limited is seeking an Operations Operative – Day Shift to join our friendly warehouse team. The role supports smooth warehouse operations under a permanent contract with comprehensive training and clear opportunities for progression.

The successful candidate will prepare customer orders, store items safely, check stock for issues, and perform manual handling as needed. A positive attitude and good English are essential.

Responsibilities

• Preparing customer orders that will be loaded onto our lorries.
• Store items safely in the correct location.
• Check stock for damage, loss or short dated items and report as required.
• Manual handling – lifting or moving products as required.
• Physical requirements – pushing and pulling the trolley to carry items.

Operations Operative – Day Shift

The perfect candidate will work behind-the-scenes to ensure the warehouse operates smoothly.

Salary: £26,440.00 per annum

• A physically active nature (due to heavy lifting)
• A good standard of spoken English
