Job summary

Crown Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Front End Maintainer in Minnesota to initiate the can making process, including setup, operation, and maintenance of the cupping press and related systems.

You will oversee equipment setup and maintenance, monitor can specs, and ensure production quality while supporting other production areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, upend, and load coils onto the unwinder, ensuring proper feeding through the lubricator and into the press.
• Perform setup, maintenance, and operation of the upender, unwinder, lubricator, and cupping press.
• Oversee the setup, maintenance, and operation of body makers, trimmers, and conveying systems.
• Monitors and record can specifications in the system, including flange wall thickness, mid-wall thickness, dome depth, and trim can height.
• Conduct visual inspections and cup weight checks to ensure compliance with production standards.
• Take corrective measures as necessary to maintain quality.
• Assist in other production areas as needed to ensure can flow through the plant.
• Complete required paperwork, including coil logs, check sheets, and other documentation.
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned.
