Job summary

Hyper Solutions is seeking an Operations Director in Richmond, VA, to drive manufacturing partnerships and lead multifunctional teams in a contract manufacturing environment.

The role defines standards, production specifications, control processes, and product requirements for Hyper’s manufacturing partners, ensuring quality and timely delivery across programs. A minimum of 5 years in leadership and Lean/5S experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of related leadership experience, including experience managing third-party or contract manufacturing operations.
• Experience leading continuous improvement activities using Lean Manufacturing and 5S methodologies where appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Identify and establish manufacturing and supply partnerships that support Hyper Solutions’ growth plans.
• Oversee manufacturing operations and related functions to ensure strategic and operating objectives are met.
• Develop and monitor revenue margins, operating expenses, and budgets in partnership with the Chief Operating Officer.
• Drive cross-functional alignment to ensure manufacturing partners meet customer and product quality expectations.
• Deploy the Hyper Operational Excellence System through internal and external partnerships.
• Lead strategic initiatives to improve scalability, agility, and efficiency.
