Role Description

The Operations Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. This role oversees daily warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, order fulfillment, and on-time shipments across multiple facilities and partners. The Operations Manager monitors performance metrics, identifies process improvements, and implements standardized operating procedures to maintain quality, safety, and compliance. Responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional teams, managing vendor and carrier relationships, resolving operational issues, and supporting the deployment and use of logistics technologies. The role also involves forecasting resource needs, managing budgets, and reporting operational results to leadership to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics operations, warehouse management, and supply chain coordination, preferably within a 3PL or multi-site environment.
• Skills in process improvement, workflow optimization, and performance measurement using KPIs and operational dashboards.
• Proficiency with logistics and warehouse management systems (WMS/TMS), data analysis tools, and basic Excel or similar applications.
• Strong leadership, team management, and coaching skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels.
• Ability to manage vendor and carrier relationships, negotiate service expectations, and coordinate complex shipping and receiving activities.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and a focus on safety and compliance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare concise reports and present operational findings.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience in high-volume or fast-paced logistics environments; familiarity with lean or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
