Job summary

PrimeSource is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to direct and coordinate activities of warehouse staff in receiving and distributing building materials. The role supervises 5–35 employees, enforces policies, and drives safe, efficient operations.

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, cycle counts, inventory management, and coordinating with carriers to ensure timely deliveries from the distribution center. AAssociates degree or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution setting.
• Associates degree or equivalent; logistics background is a plus.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word; SAP helpful.

POSITION SUMMARY

Directs and coordinates activities of warehouse workers engaged in receiving and distributing building material products by performing the following duties. Directly supervises 5-35 employees in the Warehouse. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. This position is responsible for maintaining and enforcing all company procedures, policies and practices.
